Each project 193 is subject to a theme and the result to each topic will be a work of art consisting of 193 contributions from 193 countries. There is only one contribution to each topic from each country. This can be an object, a picture, or a particular thing. From every country the same thing. The participation is not restricted, everyone can participate. Thus there are 193 participants from 193 countries. He or she must just come from the specific country for which he / she is registered. The country verification takes place via a browser identification of the computer. Means ... you are sitting in a computer in Paris, you can only participate in France. But you do not have to be a Frenchman. If you are on a laptop in New York, then you can take part in the USA. If you are connected to Sydney, then you will be the representative for Australia. Roger that?
If you register first on the site for a selected country, you will be the starting point for this country and become its representative. And most importantly ... must send the desired contribution or object to us in Germany within a short period of time. If this does not happen, the country will be "free again" and another person can then participate in the artworks for the country and selected theme. This is necessary, not the one person blocked a country and then no contribution comes from this country.
Every country participant therefore sends the desired item to us to Germany for the correspondingly selected topic. In the course of the online registration also a few information about one's own person. This is not much but important, because every representative of the country becomes a part of the whole work of art. And the viewers in the exhibitions want to know something about the work of art and their participants. All contributions to the respective topics are collected by the project193 team and if a 193 individual country contributions have been received for one topic, a corresponding work of art is created. The design is the responsibility of the artist Volker Hoffmann.
In addition to the finished work of art, there is always an accompanying reference book for explanation. In this, the details of the country contributions are then recorded in order to give the character "one world together" even more emphasis. This reference book is then also signed by the artist and certified for authenticity.
If many people join in and send their contributions quickly, then many art works are created in parallel, and the project193 collection is rapidly becoming bigger and more important. And thus, many people around the world can quickly admire the works of art.
